First International AFRL/SUNY Quantum Information Science Workshop

Attendees from thirteen countries and an array of universities and businesses traveled to the SUNY Polytechnic Marcy campus for the first International AFRL/SUNY Quantum Information Science Workshop, which takes place July 9th through 11th. Attendees were welcomed by Col Timothy Lawrence, PhD, Director of the Information Directorate and Commander, Det. 4 Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) and Dr. Grace Wang, Senior Vice Chancellor for Research and Economic Development, State University of NY and the Interim Chancellor of SUNY Polytechnic Institute. The workshop is designed as the starting point for a set of international collaborations to advance quantum technology, many of which will take place at the recently announced Open innovation Campus.
